"I would like to thank everyone that has helped me with my ordeal. Please let me explain… I adopted Stanley August 5, 2002, from a foster home. Before I brought him home I called ShelterCare and activated my ShelterCare Gift Policy. I am glad I did not wait. Stanley was doing fine the first few days getting to know his new home. The morning of the August 14, 2002, things changed. Stanley began to look ill and had uncontrollable diarrhea and vomiting. I knew something was wrong and brought him to the vet right away.
